The History of Ecordia.
The creator of EcordiaTM, Sean Jackson, recognized that businesses need to publish information on the web. But in order to leverage the growth of the internet, companies needed to communicate in a meaningful way with customers outside the typical “marketing speak” of their website. Rather, companies needed a channel to speak to customers based on how customers search for information on the web. The vision was to create a very simple way for companies to use the web to communicate and distribute their messages in a customer-focused, searchable manner.
Ecordia initially launched in beta under the brand name Lead Maverick in March 2006 followed by the public launch of the product in January 2007. The following April, Lead Maverick, Inc. was formally incorporated in Texas. In May of 2009, the brand name of the product was changed to Ecordia.
The company was founded on four core values: honesty, passion, innovation, and freedom. As we go forward, it is important to note that these underlying principles of the company, along with our focus, are what have made us successful to date. Technology will evolve, but our values and focus will never change.
